Insert MGID conversion tracking code into website
You go to the MGID campaign settings, turn on the MGID conversion, and then click Get tracking code to get the code.
You click on the cell containing the tracking code to automatically copy.
Insert code into Ladipage
You'll need to do so for all relevant pages during conversion creation. For example, an ad landing page, a thank you page when a customer has completed a purchase.
Publish the thank you page first, then go to the ad landing page, edit the form settings to switch back to the page URL thank you for publishing when the customer successfully ordered.
Insert code into WordPress
For WordPress you need to install the Insert Headers and Footers plugin to be able to insert any code.
Then you go to Settings > Insert Headers and Footers and then paste the code into the Header box, then click the save button below.

How to tracking MGID conversion with Tag Manager
If your website already uses Tag Manager, you can use Tag Manager to measure MGID conversion tracking. If you haven't used it yet, you can see how to insert Tag Manager into the web.
Steps to measure MGID conversion using Tag Manager:
Step 1: Get the ID number of the MGID account.
Step 2: Create a conversion trigger.
Step 3: Add the MGID tag to Tag Manager.
Step 4: Test the number jump to MGID.
Get the ID number of the MGID account.
In the MGID conversion tracking setting, click through the Google Tag Manager tab, turn on On, and then find your MGID Client ID number.
Let's just leave it there, we'll need it in a minute.
Create a conversion trigger.
We'll create a trigger for a successful purchase conversion. You click Activate and create the following:
- Trigger type: Page views.
- This trigger activates on: Some page views.
- What happens: Page Path > contains > a section of the thank you page URL.
Then click the save button.
Add an MGID conversion tag to Tag Manager.
Now we're creating the MGID card. You click Tag > Create new > Select the type of tag to start setting up…
You click the Add to work space button at the top.

- Tag name: MGID converter.
- MGID Client ID: paste the id number found in step above.
- Event Type: Convertion to Action
- Conversion Category: Sale, Lead make something up for you.
- Activate: select the Thank you page we created.
Then you click Save and then you're done converting cards. Note: after you're done, you need to click Send outside the work space.
Digital jump conversion test on MGID
To test whether the conversion is recorded on MGID, click the admin list, and then click the URL of the ad template. Make a successful conversion yourself. Then wait about 5 minutes and then re-enter to see if there is a number jump in parentheses.

After running for a while you can go to the Widget auction to see which widget has a good conversion.
