For people to contact your website by email, domain email will create more professionalism. And if your business has the funding to use Gmail or Outlook paid email translation, that's too good. If you don't have funding or you only need one domain email to communicate with fewer partners, this article will show you a way to use domain email right in Gmail for free.
To do this you need a normal Gmail account, you'll still sign in to Gmail with this account, but you'll send and receive messages with your domain email. And you need to know the Cpanel management access of the hosting in use.
Create a domain email in Cpanel
Most providers support creating domain email and using email services with Hosting. To create a domain email you need to go to the Cpanel management page. Then scroll to the Email section and click Email Accounts.
* If you don't know where it is, contact the technical department as each provider has a different Cpanel management interface.
In the Email Accounts section, click the Add Email Account tab and fill in the email information to create it. Here are examples of Lucid Gen.
* Please note the password of the email to use it later.
Once you're done creating it, you'll see the email you just created in the Email Accounts tab. Now click Access Webmail to try to get to your Email inbox.
For the first time it will ask which email interface you want to use. Select Roundcube as the default because Hieu sees this interface as the easiest to use.
And now we've got a basic Domain Email. Here you can send and receive mail already, but you have to use the email management service of Hosting in Cpanel.
You can change the language to make it easy to use by clicking the Settings button in the upper-right corner. In the User Interface section, you change the English language to Vietnam and save it.
Okay! It's done. Now that you want to use Gmail to send and receive domain email, you can see the two sections below.
Use Gmail to send domain email
Sign in to one of your Gmail accounts, click Settings. Switch to the Accounts and Import tabs, click Add another email address as shown below.
There will be a window that appears, you fill in the information as below. And click Add Account.
* The password of the Domain Email that you created. This information is in the first letter when you're done creating it.
If successful, you'll be taken to the next step of email verification.
Re-enter email in Cpanel and refresh your mailbox continuously until you receive gmail messages. Open this message and get the code entered for verification.
Once you're connected, you should choose the domain email you added as the default for sending messages. Where to reply to the message you should choose Reply from the address that the message sent to. The reason is that if an email receives a message, it will reply, and by default, it will compose the message using a domain email.
Now click on the new message to see the results. where From will default to your domain email.
You can already send your domain email using Gmail. To receive messages from a domain email in Gmail you need to take the next step.
Use Gmail to get domain email
Also in the Accounts and Import tab, under Check email from another account you click Add account as shown below.
A window like the one that happened again, you still fill in the created domain email and click Next.
The installation will be slightly different at port is 995. Hieu recommends that you install as below. The first tick is to connect securely via SSL. The second tick is that gmail's messages will paste a label so that you can easily distinguish what is the message of the domain email and of the entire Gmail account in use.
After clicking Save Changes, you may need to verify your email again using the Code sent to the domain email, see Cpanel Email.
And here's the result, Gmail automatically took all the messages from the domain email (it also deleted it in Cpanel). There is a sticker rolling that helps you distinguish which messages are sent to your domain email.
So we were able to send and receive domain email messages completely free on Gmail. Although the message will be a little slower than 2-5 minutes, it must be accepted for free.
Can you do that? Or comment to Hieu!
