Benefits of booking an appointment on a fanpage

Every feature has to have its benefits, so does an appointment. Here are some of the benefits I see:

  • Create professionalism with customers: after closing the appointment time and you create an appointment schedule will make customers feel more serious and serious.
  • Remind customers of an upcoming appointment: Facebook will remind customers one day in advance that an appointment is coming tomorrow.
  • Increase the conversion rate to the store directly: of course, there will definitely be an improvement in the percentage of visitors to your store.

Main content to be concerned about

  • Make appointments, edit, cancel appointments.
  • Manage appointment booking tags.
  • Customize some settings of the appointment booking feature on the fanpage.
  • Select the Put now button as the main button on the page.
  • Add the Put now button to the article on the page.

Customize Appointment Settings on your phone

Basic settings

In the page manager, click the Calendar icon below, and then click the Settings icon above as shown.

Click the Settings icon
Click the Settings icon

There are many settings. But just care about the four of us circled red as shown.

  1. Free time.
  2. Double booking.
  3. When people book in advance.
  4. Advanced settings.
Just care about the four of you.
Just care about the four of you.

Free time: is the time setting at which you allow customers to make an appointment. Such as store hours.

Turn on status display and adjust the time you’re done, and you click save.

Turn on status display and adjust the time you're done, you click save

Double booking: is that you allow in the same time frame multiple people make an appointment.

For industries that need in-depth consultation such as seeing a specialist, there are usually no retail sectors to see the product.

Do you allow multiple people to make an appointment within the same time frame
Do you allow multiple people to make an appointment within the same time frame

When people make a reservation: you’ll allow customers to request an appointment in advance for how long.

At least a few hours to a day. Up to 1 – 2 months, depending on your business.

In Advanced settings there’s only the Start Time interval section: which is the time in minutes that you allow customers to make an appointment for 1 hour.

For example, you adjust 15 minutes, from 8h – 9h customers can make an appointment as follows:

  • 8:00
  • 8:15 p.m.
  • 8:30
  • 8:45
  • 9:00

In addition, in the settings there is a messaging settings section is to automatically message the page “discuss tomorrow new guests please make an appointment again”. If you need to, turn it on and customize the message content and when it will message.

I don’t think it’s very good, but as long as you need it, adjust it.

Add a service to choose from when to make an appointment

This setting is also quite important if you have a lot of services to make an appointment with guests. Or to make appointments in more professional.

Click List of services.

If you don’t have one yet, click Add a service.

Enter your service information, most importantly, Service Name, and then click Save.

After you have the service, you can choose the service later.

Manage guest booking requests on your phone

How customers schedule

Customers can actively book appointments with the page through 2 ways:

  1. Use pre-order links
  2. Click the Put right button on the page.

To get a reservation link to send to guests, click the Speaker icon in the lower corner, and select Share reservation link (as shown).

When guests click on the appointment link, it will look like this, and they will choose the date and time allowed that you have installed in advance.

Next, fill in the extra phone number and take notes if necessary, and then click Request an appointment.

So your guest has made an appointment. But it takes your consent before an appointment is created.

Let’s see how to approve appointments for customers in step below.

How administrators manage requests

Way 1

In a conversation with a guest, you can click the Reply button in the upper-right corner as pictured.

Check the information you booked, then click Accept or Cancel.

Way 2

In the page manager, click the Calendar icon, and then click the Notifications icon in the upper corner as pictured.

There will be requests from multiple customers, and Approval or Editing will be decided.

Choose to make an appointment as the main button on your phone

If your site has reached the level where customers always want to visit your store and do not need to chat in advance. You can edit the main button on the page to the Set Now button.

Click Add a button or edit it if you already have another one before.

Select the Set now button.

Click Start setup.

Review the time you can book and click Next.

Turn on Appointment Approval if you want, and Double Booking depends on how you work (I explained at the appointment settings step) and click save.

Review your Service Listing and click Next.

Click More times in this step to ignore the link to Instagram.

Click to finish installing the Set Now button.

And here’s the result of the Put Now button already on the page.

Add an appointment button to a phone post

It’s nice to even be able to add the Put button right into the post on the page. Customers can click the Set button as soon as they see your ad template or post.

While you’re composing an article, you click on an area that says “Add to your post.”

Then you choose Pre-order attraction, and your post will appear under the Set button below the content.

So I finished my instructions on how to make an appointment on the mobile fanpage.

How to make an appointment on a computer

Pre-create service (skippable)

In the computer version is more convenient than you can easily manipulate in a general way. And you can also pre-create Services to add when booking appointments on fanpage. This step can be skipped for later.

In manage your page, click Services in the left menu, and then click Add a service.

If you don’t see it, you can enter it with a link that says: https://www.facebook.com/pg/trang-của-bạn/services/

Fill in information about your service, mainly the name of the service, but the content inside the customer rarely reads and Facebook also to be “Un forced”.

Make an appointment

In the chat window with customers, you click on the Calendar icon as shown below (I feel more like a computer than ^_^).

If you created the service first, you can now choose, otherwise skip or you can add it later. Edit the appointment start date and time, add a note if necessary, and then click Create appointment.

If you first use the Appointment function on your fanpage, you need to complete some of these basic settings, just once. Click the Start button.

Re-checking the time allows customers to proactively make an appointment with you. Then click Next.

Next, there are a few options that you decide, I will advise you more to have a decisive direction.

  • Approve appointments: if you’re always ready for appointments, there’s no need to turn it on. If your store is available for appointments at the same time, turn it on.
  • Double booking: if you can welcome multiple customers at the same time, turn it on, otherwise turn it off.
  • Sync with Google Calendar: let Google Calendar add events and remind you.

Click Next to add some basic store services that customers can make an appointment for.

Click Add a service.

Fill in the information for your service, as long as the Service Name is okay, other information is not required. Explain more about displaying the service, which is displayed outside your page on the Services tab, see how to create a service in advance.

OK then you click Next.

In the Instagram connection section, you click Other Times

This is the result of booking appointments with customers, both customers and admin fanpage see that.

After you use the Appointments function once, reload the page, you’ll see on the menu above the Appointments tab appears. Click and there to manage your appointments.

Or quickly enter with a link that says: https://www.facebook.com/trang-của-bạn/appointments/

You can also quickly create appointments by clicking the plus sign button in the Appointments section.

Edit an appointment

If you and a customer change their mind, click View details on the created appointment to start editing.

If you add only notes, just fill in the Notes for employees box (i.e. only site managers see, customers won’t see). If you want to edit your appointment time, click Edit.

Check the Service again, start time then click Save to update the edit.

Cancel an appointment

If you want to cancel your appointment, still click View details on the created appointment.

Next, you click Cancel appointment.

Re-check what you’ll notify customers when cancelling an appointment. Facebook defaults will also make it available to you like this template. Then, you click Cancel appointment.

This is the result of completing the cancellation of the appointment, the customer will receive the same.

Manage attached appointments on a computer

To manage who made an appointment, you lift the Search icon as shown below.

Type “Booked” or “Appointment Booked” (which language do you type). You’ll see a list of people who’ve been tagged, fully automated.

But the downside of the computer version is that it does not count the total for you. But on the phone version, there is a total count, if you need the total number, please see the Page Manager app on your phone.

Customize Appointment Settings on a computer

For the convenience of future facebook appointments, you should check your default settings and edit them to suit your business.

Basic settings

In the Appointments section, click Install appointment.

First, let’s take a look at the time when customers can actively book appointments with you. If you need to edit, click the Change button.

Next, Sync to Google Calendar, Accept appointments, Double Booking i explained above the Booking step. There are 2 new parts here, I will explain for you to understand and edit.

  • Reservations: is the time period during which you allow customers to create appointments. They have to make an appointment several hours in advance and the longest time (usually a few hours) that they are booked is how many days (usually 1 – 2 months).
  • Show appointment start time: is the time in minutes that you allow customers to create appointments in an hour. For example, you leave 15 minutes, from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m., customers can create appointments at: 8:00, 8:15, 8:30, 8:45, 9:00.

Next, the Reminders section is for Facebook to remind your customers, be sure to turn it on.

The next message is an option for the board’s page to send the message to the customer to make an appointment again. This setting is up to you. Can be frustrating for your customers, but can also help you get more appointments with old guests.

If necessary, Turn on and click Change to revise the message content and the time it will send after the previous appointment.

Add a service to choose from when to make an appointment

Another way to add services to your site, if you want to add, click Add services.

I repeat that as long as the service name, other information is not required ^_^.

Manage guest appointment requests on a computer

How customers schedule

When customers actively make an appointment with you from the outside, they’ll see an interface that chooses the date and time based on the time allowed you set earlier.

They have the right to add phone numbers and notes or not.

How administrators manage requests

On the admin side of the page, you’ll see a notification in the Appointments section, in the Requirements tab as shown below.

Clicking on that request will show an optional window, you can add a note and then decide the following:

  • Acceptance: appointments will be created according to the selected guest time.
  • Archive: is disagreeable but not deleted, if when you change your mind can pull out and Accept to create appointments.
  • Rescheduled: is to revise the appointment time as you like, of course customers will be asked and they will choose to agree or not.

Select make an appointment as the main button on your computer

If your page is always ready for customers to actively make an appointment, add the Set Now button as the default button for your site. Click Add a button or edit it as shown below.

Select Book Now and click Next.

Then, you select Appointment on Facebook.

Pick up Start setup.

You review the time it takes for customers to make an appointment with the page, and then click Next.

These are the three options I explained at the booking step. If you originally adjusted and then click Next.

Click More times if you’ve created the service in the instructions above.

Go to connect to Instagram you click Another time to skip again.

And here’s the result that the page already has a Set now button.

Add an appointment button to a desktop article

You can add a Put button right at the bottom of the page post to get more appointments by clicking Get people to book as shown below.

Ending

Through this article if you have any questions, please leave a comment below for Lucid Gen to answer for you. Wish you make good use of the appointment feature on Facebook fanpage and have more appointments.
